Isn’t it every child’s dream to have a mommy who owns a toy store? Needless to say, my children are tickled pink to be tagging along with their mother these days. I am also happy to have a job where my kid’s can actually be a part of my day and participate in what I do. My children and my nieces and nephew help me select which products to order and then we test them out together as they come in. They help me decide whether the toys do what they are supposed to do.

The products they quickly lose interest in, those that break after normal use, or those that are just simply disappointing in their performance are sent back. If the product is an obvious favorite and the kids just can’t get enough of it, then they will give it their official seal of approval and we will list these select items in the “our kid’s picks” section. You might be thinking “boy these are some spoiled kids!” and believe me, there is no shortage of toys in our house. But for the most part, they only get to keep what they are willing to buy themselves with their allowance. Don’t feel too bad for them…they do receive an employee discount!
